Happy Easter Everyone!  We made bunny ears for "Salt and Pepper" and "Spike", our class guinea pigs!

Next Thursday, the students from White Shell Colony will be spending the day with us at school. We have planned many fun activities with them and are going to make pizza for lunch.  It will be a great day.

Welcome back to school!  I hope everyone had a fun and restful Spring Break and are ready for third term.  We have some exciting projects planned over the next three months.  We continue to learn about Hutterite Colonies in Social Studies and look forward to a visit from the students of White Shell Colony soon.  In Science we will learn about growth and changes in animals including life cycles.  We will be hatching eggs and welcoming baby guinea pigs over the next few weeks and will have our annual "Farm Yard Friends" petting zoo closer to the end of May.

Hi Students. Mrs. Hlady and I made it to Swan River. It was a long trip so we were very tired. We had a great day working with teachers today. We saw a fox, 6 owls, a raccoon and 2 moose on our way up here. I hope you are working hard for Mrs. Nizsche and that you are being good Beausejour bears. I will send you a picture tomorrow. Wednesday, January 22nd

These are some pics of our last visit to East Gate Lodge. We visited our Senior Buddies, read the storybook "Snowballs" by Lois Ehlert, made a snowman out of recycled items and made "Snow Icecream". It was great fun for all!

It was another indoor recess today. The grade two's had a spelling test today. The new spelling words are listed on the side bar. We are learning about water and air in our environment in Science. We are learning about 2 and 3 dimensional shapes in math.

It was Kaydyn's 8th birthday today. Mrs. Zieske brought in Connor and birthday cupcakes. We had indoor recess today.
