Dianne Fitzmaurice from www.creaturecomfortscottage.com/ made a presentation to our classroom about chickens today.  She left two adult Silkie Hens and 12 eggs with us to keep for the next month.  The hens will brood the eggs for 21 days and hopefully we will get some chicks hatching out of the eggs.  Mr. Liske also gave us some eggs and we placed those into an incubator. So our inquiry project about chickens and their lifecycles should be very interesting and exciting.
Don't forget that we have a spelling test tomorrow!
Next week is 5 Days of Freedom at BEYS.  We will be posting the schedule of activities tomorrow.

We also had an Americana Rooster visit us.  He strutted around the room making himself right at home.

Jeremy presented his project made out of recycled products. He made a helicopter made from pop cans, Kinder egg containers and a plastic chicken container.
