Today was Freedom from Disease day at BEYS. We watched a short video on disease around the world. Many people have to walk for miles to get medicine and see a doctor. We all wore bandaids and wrote words on them related to sickness. We did this to remember all of the kids that don't get proper health care.
This afternoon, we went to East Gate Lodge to make birdhouses with the residents, have a snack and clean up the courtyard.
